Internet Service Provider UKFast has agreed a two-year deal to sponsor Sale and England player Charlie Hodgson. The firm has a four-year deal with the England premiership club and is its official website provider. It is responsible for hosting, developing and designing the club's online presence and handling all of Sale's e-mail services. Since the launch of the Sharks' redesigned Internet site in September, it has helped visitor numbers reach around 100,000 per week.

Chinese Government nets 'Internet Villain' gong

The Chinese Government has romped home to scoop Future Publishing's first ever "Internet Villain" award for its hard line against the online world. With its crackdown on online porn, political censorship and its decision to close thousands of internet cafes, authorities in China have managed to beat some of the net's nastiest people to win the award.
