I met a very interesting professor from Stamford recently who wrote and spoke about happiness and the importance of it in business. He explained that happiness is something that comes from within. It depends entirely on your internal state and the lens that you look at life through. So if you’re unhappy, you will probably see the bad in everything. If you’re immensely positive and happy, then you’re bound to approach life with a spring in your step and see the good in everything. Lets face it, there is good in everything and everyone. As someone who is fixated on growing and motivating my team to be the best at what we do, I am always trying to understand what are the key driving points that make some people incredibly successful. I was about to start blogging about the fact that when you have a wife and children, suddenly you seem to become more successful. We are all looking for success in life, be it in your career, in your family, in sport or a blend of all. What defines success? And why do some people become more successful than others?
