<description>It is very nice to hear from Sam.

The other girl I wrote about did become a client and we are designing a system that most businesses would charge upwards to £100,000. We are doing it for a fraction. Why some might ask? I am not sure as my mind floods with compelling reasons to help someone launch something so special. Something that will contribute to society by employing people and hopefully when profitable contribute through taxation, that has to be reason enough. But for me, simply because no one else will do it, the banks have lost confidence, businesses are tightening their purse strings. If I don&#039;t help, who else will?

Plus we can give her something no one else has, prior knowledge of building software that propels sites on the internet and a platform to run and manage it on. A unique combination that sets us apart.

So what does Sam do next? Does she continue with eBay or does she go the full hog and design her own site?

Sam you need to drop me an email and tell me what you are selling and let me have a look at your business model.

I remember my first ones! What I would have done for advice from someone who had already made the mistakes years before.

Sadly I was too stupid and proud to ask anyone for help, Even when help was handed on a plate, I declined! It is amazing how I have reached this point with all the opportunities I turned down.

Not a strategy I would recommend. I have been tremendously lucky and the mistakes I have made I have learned from them.

So Sam, Or whoever is out there who needs help, drop me a line. The worst thing that can happen is that I tell you your idea sucks, and then you can spend the next decade proving me wrong.

<description>Hi Lawrence, thank you for your comments about the &#039;young lady&#039; at the graduate recruiting day, which I think were about me. You say you are going to follow up my progress, I look forward to hearing from you.
